He is survived by : his wife Nancy Koltun; his children, Kathryn Koltun (Timothy Baker), Elizabeth Koltun and Thomas Koltun (Susan); his grandchildren, Justin Inness-Brown, Ariana Inness-Brown (Jon Norris), Emma Koltun-Baker, Max Koltun, Adam Koltun (Bricelyn), Anita Koltun (Liam Wolfram) and Lily Koltun; his sister Leila Kleiman (late Richard); his brother-in-law Fred Rothenberg; and his sister Ila Rothenberg.

A funeral service was held on Monday, May 13th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Shalom Chapel Service Shalom Memorial Funeral Home (1700 W Rand Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Northwestern Medicine Oncology at nm.org/about-us/foundation.
