Thunderbolts: Kill The Avengers was a disgrace

I don't even know where to start on this one. This is how they honor Yuri Lowenthal's death after he killed himself because his Bryan Intihar Insomniac games were becoming super gay 3000? The same Spider-Man from all of those Ravencroft Games? Are we just not gonna talk about how terribly edited that photo is? For those who don't know this is the same Spider-Man from Spider-Man: Ravencroft Institution, Spider-Man: Ravencroft City, Spider-Man: Ravencroft Origins, and Spider-Man: Ravencroft Night. Now in my opinion, Ravencroft Origins was actually kinda tight, I don't know why people hate it so much, but yeah. Then Insomniac made that remaster of the first two games + Ravencroft Night called Spider-Man: Return to Ravecroft Institution in a City at Night, which I gotta admit is one of the more shorter titles they've put out for their games imo. Basically the plot for Institution is the Green Goblin or something breaks all of Spidey's foes out of the institution after Spidey and some guards start wheeling Mister Negative down this corridor. In the game you have to fight Rhino, the Lizard in the sewers, Menace (i guess), Screwball, Hobgoblin, and finally Mister Negative and the Green Goblin. Need I mention all of the Mysterio trophies you've got to collect, this was a really crowded night. Anyways, somewhere near the end of the game after Hobgoblin uses Mysterio Juice® on Spidey to make him hallucinate he ends up getting eaten by the Lizard. Also by the end Spidey is injected with the Goblin Formula and that's kinda Green Goblin's plan through the thing, to turn people into Goblins. In Ravencroft City, Miles Warren opens up this district thing I guess where a bunch of crazy people are locked inside of I guess along with Gwen Stacy and the Green Goblin. Oh-no! Spidey gets injected with goblin blood or something, then Gwen Stacy is killed, and then you gotta fight sandman before killing the Goblin! Crazy stuff, man. Then in Ravencroft Night, the main villain is Hobgoblin after being mauled by the Lizard and experimenting with Mysterio Juice, he's ready to make everyone super scared, but Spider-Man still defeats him. Sounds crazy, right? I know. But then Shit Baby Inc decides to come along and make Thunderbolts: Kill the Avengers, the game that NOBODY WANTED! In this game you play as Abomination, Boomerang, Bullseye, and Spider-Man's arch-nemesis, Screwball. Of all people. Then you basically just have to shoot guns at "all of" the members of the Avengers, and this is all taking place in the Ravencroft Universe, mind you, and we haven't even met the Avengers yet! It's insane, but the worst thing of all, the absolute worst thing that this game did is kill the Ravencroft Spider-Man. And then he gets killed by Screwball. Who then starts hitting the griddy. It's just insane, and this is after he uses MYSTERIO JUICE ON THEM IN ORDER TO DEFEAT THEM, AND STILL LOSES! There are so many levels of just.... wrong, to this, but I don't think that I can name them all so I won't. Let's move onto the rest of the Avengers. There's Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Spider-Man, Scarlet Witch, and Quicksilver. Yep, that's the whole team alright, and apparently they're all under the mind control of Ultron. At one point Abomination just lifts Thor's hammer?? Like is he worthy?? Then of course the only person not under the mind control of Ultron is the strong "female" who is so much better than all of the boys. Now, you'd think that they could do the bare minimum here and atleast make all the boss fights different, but they don't. You just shoot at them and then they die. Honestly it's insulting and tarnishes the Ravencroft legacy, but let me know what you think, honestly this game just really sucks.
