Perkie’s Observations: Jason Fills Sam in on His Undercover Gig on General Hospital

On today’s General Hospital recap:
Laura tells Alexis about her visit with Heather and how much she's changed. She swears Heather is showing signs of remorse. Alexis says she's found a couple of cases similar, but Laura needs to manage her expectations. Alexis says the body count is too high and no judge will want to vacate her sentence but believes everyone is entitled to a defense, even Heather.
Jordan wants to update Laura on Drew's urban renewal project and tells her about the congressman getting involved. Jordan asks Laura about Heather after hearing her on the phone. Laura tells Jordan about Heather's condition as it might mitigate her responsibility. Jordan points out the entire city suffered during Heather's reign of terror and tells Laura not to challenge the conviction. She says it would be political suicide for Laura to be involved.
Natalia tells Blaze she's joining her for the wedding as her plus one. Blaze says she's taking her girlfriend Kristina, but Natalia doesn't think they should go to a public event as a couple. Blaze says it's not a public wedding, but Natalia says photos will be posted online. Natalia says Blaze is a brand and they've worked too hard to let it be for nothing. Blaze is appreciative of everything her mother has done, but says this decision is hers to make.
Sam heads to the coffee warehouse to see if Danny is hanging out with Jason because he was marked absent for first period and his phone is at home. Jason swears he hasn't seen Danny and says she's training him to lie to her. Jason says she needs to allow Danny to spend time with him, but Sam says he's dangerous.
Jason promises to be careful with his son, but Sam says Danny chases the danger. Sam says Jason doesn't know anything about raising teenagers because the first rule is to be there for them. She says Jason was alive but hasn't explained anything. Jason says she can't control Danny
Sam gets a call from the school that Danny was in fact there and overlooked. She mentions Sonny as she's leaving but Jason says he has no idea what’s happening with him. Jason tells Sam he's been working as an undercover informant for the FBI. Sam realizes that's why Sonny has turned his back on Jason and wants more details. Jason can't tell her but swears he won’t choose to stay away from his family.

Olivia isn't happy to see Sonny dining with Ava and wants to be sure he's not bringing her to the wedding. Ava catches the tail end of the conversation and tells Sonny she's available. Sonny tells Ava she won't be joining him. He says Ava showing up at a Cerullo wedding is disrespecting Connie's memory.
Ava gets upset and reminds him that he said she was the only one he could trust. Sonny tells her that even though the evidence was destroyed she still killed Connie. Ava says it was a long time ago, but Sonny brings up Ryan killing Kiki and that's how the family will feel if Ava shows up to the wedding. Sonny says things are safe now, so she can move out and offers to have Avery stay with him. Ava says she'll take care of her daughter and storms off.
Natalia runs into Sonny, who invites her to join him for a meal.
Gregory tells his sons he needs to conserve his energy for the wedding and won’t be going to Coney Island for the rehearsal. Finn wants to call a caregiver to stay with Gregory, but he refuses. Finn says Chase will worry during the rehearsal, but Gregory gets angry, bringing up the fact Finn wasn't at his wedding rehearsal to Jackie. Finn gets upset and walks out.
Gregory apologizes to Chase for lashing out at Finn. Chase says he feels like he pressured his father into presiding over the wedding, but Gregory says it's the greatest honor.
Finn heads to Alexis' to discuss what happened with Gregory. He tells her how much he blamed his father after his mother's death and how he tried to distance himself. Alexis says they've since worked it out, but Finn says his father will never forgive him. Finn says he can't think about Chase's wedding while his father is so angry and refusing a caretaker.
Alexis has an idea and calls Gregory. She tells him that she's concerned about her appeals hearing and wonders if she can come over and pick his brain.
