The following contains spoilers for Resident Alien Season 3, now streaming on Peacock.

Syfy's Resident Alien has been one of the most popular shows on TV. Alan Tudyk has been doing a great job as an alien pretending to be Harry, a doctor in the snowy Colorado town of Patience. Harry's job was to prepare the Earth to be destroyed in the first two seasons. However, he has developed an affinity for humanity.

This led to Harry trying to stave off the apocalypse in Resident Alien Season 3. Unfortunately, he has the Greys (his alien rivals) to deal with, their human-hybrid aliens, and a military that he can't trust on the "blue rock." With that in mind, here is how each episode stacked up in Season 3.

Harry is selfish by nature, which is something the military ignored as it allied with him. Even when he wants to save Earth, he sees it as a fun experiment. It led to him trying to push Asta to date the hybrid, Joseph, to mine more information. When he realized he was wasting time, Harry even contemplated killing Asta and bolting. It summed up his sometimes contradictory behavior.

Harry's hilarious antics aside, however, "Lone Wolf" illustrated there was more to Mayor Ben and Kate's abductions. More clues were dropped on the daughter that was stolen from them and kept in the alien nursery on the mothership. It was a dark comedic take on The X-Files that started the season off just right. Harry was as unpredictable as ever, while it became clear there was a deeper conspiracy at play.

"Avian Flu" had Heather, an Avian (bird alien), coming to get Harry to go back to the Galactic Federation. He was breaking the law by remaining on Earth. But Harry and Heather sparked up a romance. It showed a flawed, vulnerable and human side to Harry. However, both were obnoxious and had weird customs. That said, the courting process made for hilarious TV.

It even planted seeds that Asta was jealous, but an oblivious Harry didn't care. He forgot about saving the Earth and focused on mating. This dark romance was offset, however, by Linda Hamilton's General McCallister bringing her former subordinate, David, back and showing him a project to revive the Alien Tracker, Peter, as a cyborg. This compounded that the military would never trust Harry as a partner.

"Lovebird" continued Harry and Heather's dating, even in public places. It also created a new rivalry with Heather hating Asta. Many other key arcs unfolded, too. Max inadvertently helped Harry discover the Greys were trying to alter Earth's atmosphere to commit genocide, D'Arcy found herself unlocking information on Ben's abduction as a child, while Kate and Deputy Liv bonded over alien beliefs.

It had a lot of heart, but Harry kept getting distracted. It led to Asta wondering if Harry was capable of finishing the mission. This created a thought-provoking rift at the worst possible time. Furthermore, it showed fans that Harry really wasn't the best person to be leading the job. The dagger came when Joseph threatened Heather and made her a spy, adding drama in a massive way.

While Harry tried to figure out Yellowstone's link to the aliens, Sheriff Mike put aside his own investigations into the shady shenanigans in town. He had a one-night stand with Judy, which led to her and D'Arcy rekindling their friendship. Notably, Mike did redeem himself by helping Liv deal with her arrogant grandmother.

Mike didn't think Liv had valid points about aliens existing, but he didn't want to see his best friend hurt by the toxicity in her family. This showed audiences that while Harry thought mankind wasted the planet, there were people who needed second chances to do some good. While there were these heavy arcs, fans couldn't forget Harry tagging along on Ben and Kate's vacation at Yellowstone. He made them uncomfortable, as he used them to expose more clues as a bumbling sleuth.

"The Upper Hand" found Max trying to start a new alien tracking crew after Sahar left town for another school. Mike also broke up with Lena (a detective from another town) and left Judy heartbroken after a one-night stand. It brought up intriguing conversations as Mike realized he was a toxic person. In addition, when Harry tried to mine intel from Joseph, it led to seeds being planted that Joseph could redeem himself someday.

The show also revealed Patience's interactions with aliens and a slew of ensuing abductions ran back for decades. It opened new mysteries about the future, why Ben and others were targeted, and why Yellowstone in particular held special interest for the Greys. This episode had fans putting thinking caps on, as it was obvious more detective work would be needed this season as people took on new roles in life. Even Ben began wondering if Kate's suspicions were right, opening up a more haunting feel about people being taken by UFOs.

Most of this episode had Resident Alien's Heather betraying Harry and giving Joseph his DNA -- genetic material the Greys would use to build bombs. Heather then left, which created a laugh-out-loud series of experiences where she and Harry tried to break up via pigeon messages. Liv also stood up to her grandmother, only to give her a heart attack, while Kate began scouring her body for chips the aliens put in.

The episode mixed humor, drama and horror, coming off like a soap opera episode that tried to be way too intense. It actually succeeded, which was capped off by a crying, heartbroken Harry wondering why he got dumped. He was trying to be a good man, so he didn't deserve it. It came at the worst time, as the Greys ramped up their work. This was another emotional episode that showed how depressed and broken many of the 'detectives' were on the inside.

"Here Comes My Baby" had Harry's alien baby, Bridget, returning to Earth, shape-shifting into many key characters and then trying to kill him for sending him off-Earth. The baby hated being abandoned, so Harry had to mend fences and let him know it was for his safety. D'Arcy later had to patch things up with her condescending family, which allowed her to realize she needed to move out of Asta's shadow.

Asta, meanwhile, had to cut ties with the overbearing, greedy and money-hungry mother who gave her up for adoption. She also had to discipline her own daughter, Jay. This was one of the more cynical chapters of Season 3. But it was a necessary dichotomy to show Bridget and viewers that any world worth saving will always be a mix of the bad and the good. It's just about keeping faith, which Harry did with his mission, as he knew this was a valuable lesson for Bridget to learn. He taught her perseverance and resilience, which is why Bridget wanted to join his band of ragtag heroes.

Resident Alien's Season 3 finale had an Avengers: Endgame feel to it. Joseph joined Harry, as the team used Bridget's ship to infiltrate the Greys' mothership and drop a bomb off. As it turned into an all-out war, D'Arcy had to help Kate rescue her baby, while Harry and Bridget had to kill a lot of Greys. This was a most bombastic scene with the stakes as high as ever during the prison break aboard the ship.

It built on the Alien Tracker trying to kill the heroes back on Earth, only to regain his memories and flee. He'd end up teaming with Liv, while Mike finally learned two truths: he loved Lena, and aliens were very much around. This episode was about exposing truths. It ended with a massive cliffhanger too, as Harry and Bridget got captured while a shape-shifting Mantid began impersonating Harry on Earth -- eager to feed on Harry's friends. Ultimately, it showed that when one problem was solved, five more would pop up, which sets the stage brilliantly for Resident Alien Season 4.
