Tony Awards 2024 nominations list revealed

The prestigious Tony Awards have released their list of nominations for 2024 with Cabaret leading the pack with 9 nominations, including Gayle Rankin and Eddie Redmayne for "Best Performance in a Leading Role in a Musical" categories.

The winners will be announced at the ceremony on June 16 at the David H. Koch Theater. West Side Story actor and Tony nominee Ariana DeBose will host the show.

With a record-breaking year of productions to choose from, the Tony Awards certainly had its work cut out for it this season. The category of Best Musical saw some of the fiercest competition with 15 shows all vying for a spot in the final list.

But the awards aren't the only draw this year: DeBose is all set to stun and awe with her third go at hosting the ceremony, but this time she's turning up the heat with a self-choreographed opening.
