Massive protests in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) have led to the death of a police officer and over 100 protestors have been injured. The violence erupted after 70 members of the Joint Awami Action Committee, an organisation of traders in the region, were arrested while they were protesting the rising costs of food, fuel, and utilities.
