Actor Anushka Sharma and her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, have time and again demonstrated why they make a dream team, exuding couple goals by consistently supporting each other through thick and thin. In Anushka’s case, she frequently turns up to watch Virat’s matches, whether he is playing for the Indian team or for his Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

Following a period away from public attention due to pregnancy and the subsequent birth of their second child, the Zero actor recently returned to the limelight and was spotted at the IPL 2024 match between RCB and Delhi Capitals (DC) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Sunday, rooting for her husband and his team.

Now, photos and videos of the actor in the stands have gone viral, capturing her emotions mirroring those of the players on the field. As she remained engaged throughout the match, a range of emotions from tension to joy appeared on her face while RCB marched towards victory. Once the team claimed victory over DC, she joined hundreds of other RCB fans in standing up, cheering and clapping for them, before folding her hands in gratitude.

Royal Challengers Bangalore’s victory against DC by 47 runs marked their sixth win in the 13 matches they have played so far in IPL 2024, positioning them fifth on the points table.

Anushka and Virat tied the knot in 2017, welcoming their daughter, Vamika, in 2021, and their son, Akaay, in February this year. Anushka’s last lead role in a movie was in Aanand L Rai’s Zero (2018), where she starred alongside Shah Rukh Khan.

Although she played the central character in Prosit Roy’s biographical sports drama Chakda ‘Xpress, based on the life of former Indian cricketer Jhulan Goswami, the film is yet to be released.
