Heavy vs Soft

If you were to make a playlist of 10-15 Opeth songs going from softest to heaviest with a transition track in the middle, what would be the softest, heaviest and middle tracks? For me it would be isolation years as soft, the drapery falls and the Moor as middle and probably Deliverance or Heir Apparent as heaviest. Lemme know your thoughts!

Sorceress 2 maybe for softest? Heaviest is hard to pin down

In very soft category would put songs like Sorceress 2, Patterns in the Ivy II. Then in the soft songs Benighted, Coil. In the clean but more mellow songs I would put all Damnation album + clean songs scattered in the discography like Harvest, To bid you farewell or Lovelorn crime.

Going heavier I would put Cusp of Eternity or Charlatan, then I would put all the death metal stuff. And in the very heavy moments the highlights would be songs like Serenity painted death, Heir apparent, Blackwater park and The baying of the hounds.

Agreed with Heir Apparent as their heaviest. Weakness is their softest though imo

Softest has a lot of options, instinct says put something from Damnation but even if those are instrumentally light they're still very heavy on the mood, i might be inclined to put something like Will O The Wisp there, feels almost folky, like half of its runtime is just vocals and an acoustic guitar

Near the middle tracks like Charlatan and Sorceress, i think a lot of "newpeth" stuff goes here

Personally I'd probably go Wreath for heaviest
