I know it’s your nuke… but, place your nuke so that the mine is at the far right of your blast zone. Why? So your fellow participants don’t need to travel far to get out the blast zone.. it’s very possible to spawn out and run up the path before rads start hitting anyone when it’s done like like that.. put it square on the mine, everyone has to deal with rads to get out.. and a good event (TYM) is ruined.

another tip: invest in an endangerol syringer. these are super cheap to make/buy. some players are even willing to make one for you ahead of time free of charge.
these inflict a powerful defensive debuff on anything you shoot with it, and lasts for 2 minutes. most importantly of all, the effects per person shooting one. a full group of players shooting the boss with one, can make him from go from nightmare fuel, to a crying baby extremely quickly.
don't sleep on it guys!
Note that Endangerol provides only a debuff to physical damage, not any other elemental resistance. If everyone is using energy weapons, it's a waste of time.
