The new SLA blocks, designed to accommodate both Senior Non-Commissioned Officers (NCOs) and Other Ranks, will incorporate innovative Modular Methods of Construction (MMC). These methods aim to achieve optimal building energy efficiencies, incorporating features such as photovoltaic panels, air source heat pumps, and a SMART building management system. These advancements not only enhance the green credentials of the buildings but also contribute to reducing utility bills and supporting carbon reduction goals.
