Eagles of the Month for May

Eagles of the Month for May

(L to R) Caden Matuszewicz, Evann Moore, Kahlea Ramos, Logan Beckett

Each month staff members nominate a student they want to recognize as “Eagle of the Month”.  This month teachers nominated a student who shows  “Leadership”.  Of the students nominated, four are drawn at random to receive a special meal.  Below are our winners with a brief explanation as to why they were chosen and below that are the other students nominated this month and the staff member who nominated them.  Congratulations to all of our nominees.

EVANN MOORE

When I think of a leader, I think of Evann. She listens to others input and collaborates well with others. She is trustworthy and gets the job done and it is done well. She has integrity and it has been a real blessing to watch her grow into the leader she is now over the past few years. She works well being the voice in front or working behind the scenes. She really demonstrates servant leadership by serving others and putting the needs of others in front of her own. I really admire her for it and I am really proud of her.  -- Nominated by Mr. Craton

KAHLEA RAMOS

Kahlea is a natural leader who exemplifies all the qualities of what a leader should be. Kahlea has demonstrated her many leadership skills through her involvement around campus and as a THS cheerleader. She is not afraid to take charge both on the sidelines and around campus but she is also patient and respectful to her peers when doing so. Kahlea always goes above and beyond what is asked and puts 100% into everything that she does. She has a bright future ahead of her as a leader in whatever she decides to do! -- Nominated by Ms. Arebelo

LOGAN BECKETT

Logan has a tremendous ability to lead by example and work well with all of his peers. He is always kind to other students and his teachers, and never hesitates to step up into new leadership positions. He shows hardwork and commitment to the organizations he is involved with on a daily basis.-- Nominated by Mr. Sudberry

Logan is a true leader especially when it  comes to leading by example. He comes to every class prepared and ready to work. I can always count on him to help classmates and always show kindness to others. He is hard working and puts effort into everything he does. I can always count on Logan to do the good right thing.  -- Nominated by Mrs. Forzetting

CADEN MATUSZEWICZ

Caden is an intellectual and academic leader in our AP Computer Science A class. He is genuinely interested and curious in the topic, and that guides him to learn in depth beyond the curriculum, learning how to program in multiple languages.  He is the first one to try to help others understand difficult topics, and the first one to ask challenging questions to push the learning of everyone.  Beyond that, he leads the way in being respectful and helpful all around.-- Nominated by Mr. Jacobson
