Kopenhagen recommendations and/or Google Maps lists?

Going to Kopenhagen soon with the girlie.

Any recommendations for cool stores, restaurants for dinner, lunch, breakfast, cool neighborhoods, nice vintage shops, art, galleries, museums and places to see?

Some random recommendations would work or a nice google maps list.

Thank you 🙏🏽

biggest reco i can give you is that shops close at 430pm on a saturday and they're basically all closed on sundays.

in indire by there's a block that has norse projects, nn07, another aspect, the woodwood outlet, hansen garments all really close to eachother (+ other stuff). i'd also reco the mfpen apartment shop. for the girlie there are some nice brands / shops in Store Strandstræde.

for cocktails, go to bird. fav meal was at baka d' busk. if you like seafood, kødbyens fiskebar. Poulette for a chicken burger. Copenhagen Contemporary was a great museum and the walk to get there from the centre, through christiania, was also nice.

oh also the train ride + day visit at the lousiana museum is an absolute must

Torvehallen is a great little food market (highly recommend the empanadas, out of this world, best I’ve had), War Pigs does amazing bbq - probably the best we ate while there - studio arhoj have a studio where you can watch them blow glass and has great little figurines and crockery, spit and you’ll hit an amazing museum or palace - our faves were Christiansborg Palace, botanic gardens, and The Cistern/Cisternen in Fredericksberg, which does art installations underground in an old converted reservoir and dripstone cave.

You could also try the design museum.

Reffen food market is a bit further out but it’s near a Mikkeller brewery and had good drinks and eats, music and some independent stalls etc.

And don’t miss Tivoli Gardens, it’s stunning even though it’s a theme park, and they have a Japanese garden and often have concerts inside.

Depending how long you’re there, I’d look into the Copenhagen Card which you can buy there or through the app before you go - it gives you unlimited travel and access to a whole bunch of attractions included (some attractions you still pay for but it includes like 90% of the museums etc.) and included one free ticket to Tivoli Gardens. All in I think it saved us about £200 while we were there cause we did so much stuff.

Selma for Smørrebrød

Gasoline Grill (burger spot), Bird Bar, Warpigs (BBQ) also has some breweries. Topjaw is a youtube channel that has fire copenhagen recs. Whatever you choose to do, you wont be disappointed. One of my fave cities.

War pigs is unreal. Bit pricey but well worth it. Brisket was mouthwatering good.

For the girlie... definitely take her to the GANNI flagship, Stine Goya, and up the Illums building for sure. First floor has skincare and frags and theres a Muji with cafe on the top floor. Other than what's mentioned above there's an Acne Store nearby as well as Maria Black which sells affordable jewelery. A bit out of the way but still in central Copenhagen is GOODS cph which carries alot of menswear adjacent brands, plus the shop is cool.

Non-fashion related, theres alot of ceramics and home goods stores to check out. There's Arhoj Studios, which has some cute ceramics and glass, Anne Black is also amazing for ceramics as well.

SMK museum and Glyptoteket are museums I'd say are a must visit, other than Louisana which was mentioned. The pancakes at SMK go hard, and its like your typical national art museum with rotating works. Glyptoteket is smaller but packed with art and has a huge sculpture section with lots of original Rodins if you're into that. The inner garden is worth a photo as well!

There are two Norse Projects stores within blocks of each other that stock completely different stuff. I recommend going to both. Wood wood is also solid.

Def take the train up to the Louisiana museum of modern art. Very easy, only 45min away, and it’s a nice way to get out of the city for a bit. And the museum itself rocks.

I've never been but Samson Samson and Les Deux both should have flagship stores there being Danish brands.
