60 earthquakes in the last 24 hours and inflation continuing

About 60 earthquakes have occurred in the last 24 hours in the magma chamber at Svartsengi, which is similar to the day before.

Jóhanna Malen Skúladóttir, a natural hazard specialist at the Icelandic Met Office, says that the seismic activity has been quite stable overnight but that there have been no changes. Inflation is continuing in the area.
