What I enjoy is that probably the most exclusive console of the 90s is one of the best supported today. You can buy most of the catalogue legally with online leaderboards, other collections with good netcode, plus a variety of decent mini consoles/other emulation devices. Plus there's emulation through MAME, FBNeo, plus a ton of support in Fightcade for online play as well as great FPGA implementations on Mister and Pocket. Physical is still too rich for my blood, just like it was in the 90s, but I can thankfully say I've played all of these to which I'd say I preferred Last Resort of the ones above.
I play king of the monsters every so often.
Plays like a wrestling game, but with giant monsters. And instead of a ring, you smash up a city.
King of the Monsters can be fun, but you gotta play co-op it’s so much better that way. There will be a lot of button mashing involved though lol

I've played them all,
but unfortunately not on Nick Arcade.
That would have been dope!
I'm still cheesed that nobody ever picked El Viento.
From Sega Genesis.
Of course I did, I remember when I found Winkawaks as a teen and downloading arcade roms by pieces because the internet connection was so slow, good times.
Um. Yeah I've played tons of Neo-Geo. I remember the first time I came across the 4 game cabinet at an arcade. But the games were on the show, not from the show.
I've played them all, but I never saw a single episode of Nick Arcade. Was SNK a special feature on the show or something?
King of the Monsters was one of those games that really captured my imagination when I was 12, but which I find rather "meh" today because the wrestling mechanics make it harder than it needs to be to knock your opponent out.
Yeah I played nearly all of them as soon as emulation became available. So Ghost Pilots is their shooter, eh?
Magician Lord, Ghost Pilots and Last Resort are awesome games and worth playing.
The yellow teams is back aga-i-i-ian, I should charge the rent!
I might have played ML in the arcades once?
