Interview with Tyler Bryant

Tyler Bryant and the Shakedown release their sixth full-length studio album, Electrified, this Friday and Tyler chatted with us about it.

Tyler Bryant is one very busy man. When he’s not touring with his band, he’s either writing and recording one of his many releases, or producing or engineering music both for himself and others. Its fair to say that he has his hands in multiple aspects of the music industry these days. While himself and wife Rebecca Lovell of Larkin Poe are waiting for the completion of their new studio they are currently building, he has already recorded 14 albums in the studio in the basement of his house.

The latest album, Electrified, is set for release this Friday. It includes guest appearances from Ruthie Foster and Larkin Poe. It’s everything you’ve come to expect from a TylerBryant and the Shakedown album – the perfect blend of rock and blues and, of course, outstanding musicianship from the entire band.

We caught up with Tyler about the new album, his record label Rattle Shake Records, getting to work with other musicians on their albums, and what it’s like to have his own signature Fender guitar.
