Hades 2 is an awesome looking action RPG that has a very unique graphics design. In the game, you will get to fight various types of enemies and bosses as Melinoë, the princess of the underworld. You can currently find the Early Access version of this game on Steam. In Hades 2, you have the options of exploring various Regions both on the Surface and in the Underworld. Every Region feels completely different with unique enemies and bosses. Not to mention the resources you get will also be different. This guide will help you out with that.

Guide on All Regions (Paths, Bosses, Items & More)

Let’s get straight to the point. Currently there are a total of 6 Regions (not counting The Crossroads) in the game, 2 on the Surface and 4 in the Underworld. In the future, more Regions may be added by the developers. You can find all the information you need about the currently available Regions down below.

City of Ephyra

City of Ephyra
City of Ephyra (1st Surface Region).

This is the first Region on the Surface. More information about the City of Ephyra is given below:

Path

You can get to the City of Ephyra from The Crossroads.

Ally

You will find Medea as an ally in this region. She will offer you Boons which will help you get better item drops from enemies or enfeeble them.

Resources

This Regions has the following resources:

  • Bronze (requires Crescent Pick).
  • Moss (can be picked up by hand).
  • Garlic Cloves (requires Silver Spade).
  • Roach (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Spike (requires Rod of Fishing).

Enemy Types

You will encounter the following enemies in this Region:

  • Bronzebeak
  • Shambler
  • Cutthroat
  • Lubber
  • Tombstone
  • Eidolon
  • Satyr Champion (miniboss)

Main Boss

The main boss of the City of Ephyra is Polyphemus. You will get Wool as a drop reward once you are able to defeat him.

Rift of Thessaly

Rift of Thessaly (2nd Surface Region).

This is the second and the final Surface Region. Another Region beyond this will probably be added by the developers. More information about the Rift of Thessaly is given below:

Path

You can get to the Rift of Thessaly from the City of Ephyra but you will have to fight and defeat Polyphemus.

Ally

In this Region, you will find Circle who will aid you on your journey. She will offer you 3 Dresses, out of which you can choose one. Each Dress provides armor and some kind of effect.

Resources

This Regions has the following resources:

  • Iron (requires Crescent Pick).
  • Driftwood (can be picked up by hand).
  • Mandrake Seeds (requires Silver Spade).
  • Squid (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Chrab (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Tuna (requires Rod of Fishing).

Enemy Types

You will encounter the following enemies in this Region:

  • Sea-Shambler
  • Droplet
  • Seesword
  • Blasket
  • Stickler
  • Boozer
  • Anchor
  • Harpy Talon
  • Charybdis (miniboss)

Main Boss

The boss that you will face in this Region is Eris. After defeating Eris, you will get Golden Apple as a drop reward.

Erebus

Erebus
Erebus (1st Underworld Region).

This is the first Region that you will find in the Underworld. More information about Erebus is given below:

Path

You can get to Erebus from The Crossroads.

Ally

Arachne will be your ally in this Region. She will offer you Boons that can improve your healing, Arcana Cards, etc.

Resources

This Regions has the following resources:

  • Silver (requires Crescent Pick).
  • Moly (can be picked up by hand).
  • Deathcap (can be picked up by hand).
  • Nightshade Seeds (requires Silver Spade).
  • Moper (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Figment (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Soulbelly (requires Rod of Fishing).

Enemy Types

You will get to face the following enemies in this Region:

  • Whisper
  • Wastrel
  • Spindle
  • Wailer
  • Casket
  • Thorn-Weeper
  • Root-Stalker (miniboss)
  • Shadow-Spiller (miniboss)

Main Boss

The boss guarding this Region is Hecate. She will drop Cinder once you are able to defeat her.

Oceanus

Oceanus (2nd Underworld Region).

This is the 2nd Region that you will find in the Underworld. More information about Oceanus is given below:

Path

You can get to Oceanus from Erebus after defeating Hecate.

Ally

You will come across Narcissus who will be your ally here. He will offer random amounts of Gold Crowns, Health, Magick, Resources or a random Boon.

Resources

This Regions has the following resources:

  • Limestone (requires Crescent Pick).
  • Lotus (can be picked up by hand).
  • Cattail Seeds (requires Silver Spade).
  • Chiton (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Gutternose (requires Rod of Fishing).

Enemy Types

You will fight the following enemies in this Region:

  • Wet-Whisper
  • Sop-Spindle
  • Pinhead
  • Lurker
  • Hippo
  • Shellback
  • Sea-Serpent
  • Wretched Pest
  • Deep Serpent (miniboss)
  • King Vermin (miniboss)

Main Boss

The guardian of this Region is Scylla. She will drop Pearl when you defeat her.

Fields of Mourning

Fields of Mourning (3rd Underworld Region).

This is the 3rd Region that you will find in the Underworld. More information about the Fields of Mourning is given below:

Path

You can get to the Fields of Mourning from Oceanus when you defeat Scylla.

Ally

The ally you find in this Region is Echo. She will offer your various Boons with stat bonuses such as Health Magick, Dodge. etc.

Resources

This Regions has the following resources:

  • Glassrock (requires Crescent Pick).
  • Myrtle (can be picked up by hand).
  • Wheat Seeds (requires Silver Spade).
  • Soby (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Anguish (requires Rod of Fishing).

Enemy Types

This Region has the following enemies for you to fight:

  • Sorrow-Spiller
  • Blight-Shade
  • Blood-Shade
  • Bloat-Shade
  • Bawlder
  • Smacker
  • Holeheart
  • Mourner
  • Canine
  • Lycaon
  • Lamia
  • Phantom (miniboss)
  • Queen Lamia (miniboss)

Main Boss

In this Region, you will have to face Infernal Cerberus as the final boss. Once you are able to free Cerberus from its Infernal phase, you will get Tears as a drop reward.

Tartarus

Tartarus (4th Underworld Region).

This is the 4th and final Region that you will find in the Underworld. More information about Tartarus is given below:

Path

You can get to Tartarus from Fields of Mourning after you are able to defeat Infernal Cerberus.

Ally

Your ally in this Region will be Hades. He will offer you Boons that will assist you in fighting Chronos.

Resources

This Regions has the following resources:

  • Marble (requires Crescent Pick).
  • Shaderot (can be picked up by hand).
  • Poppy Seeds (requires Silver Spade).
  • Jiffy (requires Rod of Fishing).
  • Goldfish (requires Rod of Fishing).

Enemy Types

You will encounter the following enemies in this region:

  • Numbskull
  • Wretched Thug
  • Tempus
  • Crawler
  • Satyr Supplicant
  • Satyr Hoplite
  • Satyr Vierophant
  • Verminancer (miniboss)
  • Goldwraith (miniboss)

Main Boss

The main boss of this Region is Chronos, the Titan of Time. He is the main antagonist of this game. Once you defeat him, you will get Zodiac Sand (Z-Sand) as a drop reward.
