Anthony Gordon, his husband Roger Dennehy, and his boyfriend Ben Fink have a bounty of Pride events to choose from in Southern California. They share a home together in Los Angeles, and Anthony is a makeup artist.

Sometimes they’ll jump on the 10 and drive east two hours to the Coachella Valley and the gay desert oasis in Palm Springs.

“We go to Palm Springs Pride because it’s one of our favorite Pride events,” Gordon says. “The people are exceptionally friendly, and there’s so much joy at that event. It really feels like the whole city is celebrating.”

In 2020, the throuple stuck closer to home for a day at the beach at Venice Beach Pride, where Gordon snapped a selfie of their triad on a bright sunny day on the boardwalk, waves lapping in the distance.

Dennehy is on the left, Fink on the right, and the facial hair is everywhere.

The man in the middle says the highlight of their day was all the incredible people they met there, “but also all the acceptance we have as a trio.”

“It’s important for us that we share all the different kinds of relationships our community has to offer,” Gordon says. “We’ve been in a polyamorous relationship for eight years and it’s been incredible. There’s so much love in our home and we all take care of each other. We built an amazing family.”

“I’m so lucky to have two incredible men in my life,” he adds, “and I’m proud that we realized we didn’t have to force ourselves into heterosexist norms. I feel it’s important that we share our story as a throuple. I think we’ll be seeing a lot more polys in the near future, as baby boomers get older and realize we all need to take care of each other.”
