Kevin Spacey's Alleged Victims Detail 'Cold' and 'Inhuman' Sexual Abuse and Harassment in Spacey Unmasked Docuseries

Spacey's estranged brother, Randy, also alleged the actor's tumultuous childhood home was the site for "Nazi meetings" and sexual abuse

Kevin Spacey's once illustrious reputation in Hollywood has been tarnished by scandal and infamy after multiple allegations of sexual assault and harassment. Now, new names and accusations are coming forward in Investigation Discovery's docuseries, Spacey Unmasked.

In 2017, Star Trek: Discovery actor Anthony Rapp became the first person to publicly accuse the House of Cards actor, 64, of sexual assault. In the wake of the Harvey Weinstein scandal — in which multiple allegations of sexual misconduct, harassment and assault surfaced in bombshell reports by the New York Times and The New Yorker — several more accusers were inspired to come forward about similar alleged instances involving Spacey.

In response to the claims, which the actor denied, Spacey came out as a gay man — a reaction which was criticized by numerous stars due to the timing. At the time, GLAAD noted that his declaration shouldn't "deflect" from the allegations.

The actor's character was eventually killed off on House of Cards and he has rarely worked since. Spacey was later found not liable for battery in relation to Rapp’s accusations and not guilty for nine counts of sexual assault in the U.K.

Seven years after the first accusation, Spacey Unmasked explores the fall of the once-beloved actor. Ahead of the program airing in the U.K. earlier this month, Spacey shared a statement on post on X (formerly known as Twitter), “Over the last week, I have repeatedly requested that @Channel4 afford me more than 7 days to respond to allegations made against me dating back 48 years and provide me with sufficient details to investigate these matters.”

He alleged that the British network refused the extension, reasoning that “a response in 7 days to new, anonymized and non-specific allegations is a ‘fair opportunity’” to refute accusations against him.

“I will not sit back and be attacked by a dying network's one-sided 'documentary' about me in their desperate attempt for ratings,” the actor continued. “There's a proper channel to handle allegations against me and it’s not Channel 4.”

Spacey added that every time he has been given a “proper forum” to address allegations against him, they have “failed under scrutiny.”

Now, he's denying all allegations made against him in a statement included in Spacey Unmasked. "I have consistently denied — and now successfully defended — numerous allegations made both in the U.S. and the U.K., both criminal and civil, and each time have been able to source evidence undermining the allegations and have been believed by a jury of my peers," his statement read. Spacey's attorney did not immediately return PEOPLE's request for comment.

Kevin Spacey's Brother Details Tumultuous Home Life and Facing Sex Abuse from Their Father

For the first time, Spacey's estranged older brother, Randy, opened up about the traumatic home life they endured when they were children.

Though the two once held a "real bond as brothers," Randy painted a picture of how his fractured relationship with their father had affected their relationship.

"My father blamed the world for all of his problems and he was full of so much hatred," he recalled, adding that the family patriarch was allegedly a Holocaust denier and would regularly host "Nazi meetings" in their home. He claimed, "My father's office used to have a big Nazi flag hanging up on the wall."

According to Randy, their father would allegedly "beat the s--- out of me" with a riding crop. Spacey, too young to understand the context of his alleged abuse, would "just split" and over time their relationship grew distant.

The extent of Randy's alleged abuse didn't end there. The actor's older brother claimed that their father began sexually abusing him when he was around 13 to 14 years old in the summer of 1969.

"My father took me up to the master bedroom and raped me. He sodomized me. He gave me oral sex," he claimed, looking back at how he screamed for his mother. "This kind of nonsense went on for years and it wasn't until 1971 [that] I just said 'No, this has to stop now."

A few years later, Randy moved out of his family's home but admitted to feeling guilty about leaving Spacey alone in an abusive environment.

"I couldn't take it any longer. What about Kevin? What's going to happen to my little brother?" he said of the thoughts going through his mind. "I just had to take a chance that he would be okay. But just because he wasn't being abused doesn't mean that there wasn't psychological trauma going on within him from the strange family life we had."

Spacey's Behavior on House of Cards Was Allegedly Well-Known by Those Who Worked With Him

In Spacey Unmasked, various actors and crew members who worked on House of Cards came forward to detail their experiences with the actor. Evelyn, a production assistant who claims she always had "eyes on Kevin," alleged the Netflix series was a "hostile work environment for a lot of people."

"The issue of Kevin was certainly well-known," she claimed of Spacey's allegedly inappropriate behavior. "It was like 'Oh yeah, that's the thing, that's what happens here.'"

Evelyn claimed she would often see Spacey approach performers and touch various parts of their bodies like their arms or legs to comment on their "muscles" during their conversations. She also claimed that she and another female staffer who worked with Spacey were hired intentionally to account for the actor's "bad behavior."

"They wanted to make sure that they weren't putting someone into close proximity where it could happen again," she claimed, recalling an incident where a male cast member was allegedly taken off set as a result of Spacey's persistent pursuit.

"It puts you in a really weird headspace where you're kind of waiting to be like what's bad enough where like something that has to be done about this?" she alleged. "Is there some way I can insert myself to kind of save them? It was not clear what you could do, you could call Netflix?"

One of Spacey's alleged targets was Daniel, a background actor on House of Cards. At the time, Daniel was 23 years old and had been offered a small speaking role in the series when Spacey allegedly groped him without his consent.

After the two walked off set and away from cameras following a take, Daniel claimed Spacey "tickled" him below his zipper with his finger.

"His hand touched my penis ... it was sexual," he claimed in the docuseries. "He has these little dead eyes looking at me and I just felt like I was staring at a soulless monster." Feeling an "overwhelming sense of guilt" and "disgusted with myself," Daniel described the experience as "unprofessional" and feared that the behavior would continue if he stayed on the show.

Spacey Allegedly Held an 'Internal Hatred' for His Sexuality

Many of the men who came forward claimed that Spacey fiercely denied he was gay and exhibited homophobic tendencies during the time of their alleged assaults.

In 1998, Scott first met Spacey after going out to a Los Angeles club called The Viper Room with one of his friends. Scott, who was an ex-marine and aspiring actor, recalled feeling "starstruck" when Spacey offered to help launch his acting career. When the party moved to a house in the Hollywood Hills, Scott claimed Spacey suggested that they check out the home theater where the Oscar winner got Scott in a "bear grip" and allegedly began "grinding" and "humping" him while nuzzling his face in his neck.

The next day, Spacey offered to take Scott's headshot and resume and due to his immense star power, Scott felt the need to accept. While out in the city, Spacey suggests they see Saving Private Ryan, a movie Scott had worked on, where he allegedly began "pleasuring himself" as actors on screen stormed the beach of Normandy.

After feeling a great deal of "shame," Scott stopped returning the numerous calls he would receive from Spacey until he invited him to a party with Bruce Willis. When he met Spacey in his hotel room to go to the party, the actor invited him inside and later allegedly alluded that there was a "glass ceiling in Hollywood" while rubbing his shoulders.

"If you don't pay the toll — your sexual favors, you'll have a decent career but you won't have your name in lights," Scott claimed he was told by Spacey before he left. It wasn't until the two crossed paths again at another bar that he claimed to have realized Spacey had a problem with his sexuality.

"We're down at the end of the bar, there's two gay guys," he claimed. "[They're] not too flamboyant, but you can tell they were gay. And Kevin notices them and he starts doing these voices for them as if they're these over the top, drag queens, like kind of in a creepy way, like really shitty make making fun of them."

"It was kind of my first indication that maybe he was uncomfortable in his own skin, some sort of inner self hatred," he alleged. "I think it it speaks volumes about how he feels about his own sexuality. It's it's a part of him that he doesn't like."

The following year, Jesse met Spacey when he was an intern on The Big Kahuna in 1999. Despite knowing that Jesse was straight, Spacey didn't stop with his alleged pursuit and once exposed his penis to him and shoved his "tongue in my mouth" when they were alone in a bathroom at the film's wrap party.

"Shocked" but determined to use the alleged incident as "leverage" to advance his career, Jesse met Spacey again to show him a script he was working on. He explained that he had come to terms with the fact he felt he had to do "something uncomfortable to get something out of it" and agreed to meet Spacey for a late night drive.

Within minutes, Spacey allegedly "whipped out his d---" and Jesse attempted to give him oral copulation. It lasted a few seconds before Jesse stopped and Spacey allegedly began pleasuring himself until he reached climax. After the experience, Jesse stopped returning Spacey's calls but eventually told him that he liked women and wasn't gay.

"He lost his s---," Jesse claimed. "[He was] screaming on the phone like, 'I just needed a friend' and [was] clearly very upset that I was insinuating that he was gay. It's one thing to be like, don't tell anybody. It's another thing to be like, 'I'm not gay.'"

Andy — who met Spacey in 1981 as an openly gay man — recalled an alleged aggressive incident with the actor when they worked at a public theater in New York City. After failing to acknowledge him in their shared office, Andy claimed Spacey approached him with a "full scale erection" and put him on top of a desk. When Andy fell over due to the sheer nature of the force, Spacey allegedly got on top of him until he got out of his grip.

"It was cold in a way that was almost inhuman," he claimed. "I was really scared. I never told my boyfriend at the time. I never felt like I could tell or should tell anybody. It was something I had to bury. I had to watch his career blossom."

Spacey Publicly Allegedly Assaulted Two Employees at The Old Vic

After Spacey was appointed the new artistic director of The Old Vic Theatre Company in 2003, he continued his alleged pattern of sexual assault on those working there, two men claim in the docuseries.

Danny was an employee at The Old Vic whose responsibilities involved scooping ice cream at concessions and showing patrons to their seats. His initial excitement for Spacey's new position quickly soured when Danny was working as an usher and Spacey allegedly "wedged" himself into a tight space where the ushers would take their seats.

"Because of where I was sitting and he was standing, I felt like his whole groin push on my face," he claimed. "[He was] someone I had tremendous respect for and he was pushing his groin on my face, during whilst I was working, whilst the pantomime was going on with families and children."

Through tears, Danny alleged, "And I could smell him, I could feel him getting pleasure from it." Since that moment, Danny claimed he felt "scared of coming to work" as Spacey now has a "look of intent" after the alleged incident. Spacey would allegedly brush himself against him in a way that was "completely uninvited and his touches grew "closer and closer and get more intimate."

"I just thought what have I done to deserve this? How could you get on that stage, how could you sleep at night?" he said with emotion.

After a small part in Brad Pitt's World War Z, Ruari nabbed a role in one of Spacey's shows at The Old Vic. On opening night, he recalled receiving a gift from Spacey — an original poster from the play they were performing at the theater.

At the opening night party, Ruari approached Spacey at event where there was a red carpet, staffed with major entertainment news outlets and photographers.

"I walked up to him, I put my hand out and I said, 'Thank you so much for the gift,'" he recalled. "And he pulled me in very close with his right hand and sort of turned me 45 degrees. Now, I don't know that that was to hide from cameras, but I only assume that was what he was trying to do."

"And he put his left hand down by my bum and he stuck his middle finger as far up in me as high as possible," he claimed. "I just totally froze. He told put me closer in my ear, [and] he whispered, 'Don't worry about it.' He did that and then he just like a shark."
