I'd wait until 1-2 months before the gig, more likely closer to 1, then check ticketmaster (or whatever the official site is, I think it is ticketmaster but I got my tickets for Edinburgh from some Scottish site) every day for resales - it's very likely people will put tickets up for resale. Always happens.
Don't buy an extortionately overpriced ticket right now off viagogo or the like - what seems to usually happen is the closer to the gig, the more desparate people are to get rid so the price goes way down in the run up to the event - will probably be not far off face value in July.
Can't wait for this one - will probably be a lot like the Shepherd's Bush gig in February, very intimate, maybe Tom will actually take a request from me this time lol

Yes - people will also put up tickets day of and for less than face value. I don’t know if Twickets is popular in Scotland but a lot will go through there.
I've tried Twickets but nothing for this event yet - but i get the impression that things will tend to start moving closer to the event so i'll keep checking - thanks for your reply!
