Details
This 4.1 mile hike requires only 282 ft of climb, but is sometimes rough rocky underfoot. The trail, marked by rock pile cairns includes a pleasant mix of stacked rock canyons, ponds, and meadow. Expect temps into the 60s with ample sun and minimal shade. So, a hat and sun block may still be useful. Also bring extra water, personal safety needs, and snacks for the trail and/or after hike picnicing. No dogs are allowed on this trail. There is a $10 entrance fee per vehicle. Car pools are encouraged.
