Ladies, bring out your bras.

Queenstown-based travel agency xtravel’s on the hunt for pre-loved bras.

They’ll go directly to women in the South Pacific, through Project Uplift.

Since it was established in New Zealand in 2005, more than 2million bras have been sent across the globe — last time around, 40kg of bras were sent from Queenstown to women in Fiji.

But thanks to Mitre 10 Mega’s marketing and promotions manager Toni Boatwright, the Queenstown-based collection’s expanding.

Now xtravel’s also on the hunt for unwanted reading glasses, destined for girls in Cambodia, and sanitary products, which will go to girls in Nepal.

xtravel co-founder Tori Keating (right) says taking the opportunity to collect more while they have the capacity to do so is "incredible".

"Seeing the impact the donations have ... is what motivates us to collect."

Anyone can drop off bras, glasses or sanitary items to xtravel’s Queenstown Central office, above The Coffee Club — the entrance is next to Sal’s Pizza — during office hours, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Donations can be made year-round.
