Meredith Barney is frustrated by the lack of progress in her daughter’s murder case and hopes to spread awareness about violenceANCHORAGE, Alaska - A discovery hearing for Zarrius Hildabrand , the U.S. Army soldier accused of murdering his wife Saria Barney , took place on Wednesday at Anchorage’s Nesbett Courthouse.
Hildabrand’s public defender Lars Danner said he still needs to review evidence and was granted a continuation of the hearing for next month. Barney described her late 21-year-old daughter as being free-spirited, an adventurer, loving and excited about life. To Barney, her daughter was a special person and she does not want her to be forgotten.
