Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant has shared a heartfelt message on social media after his Indian Premier League (IPL) season came to a close.
Having played his final game of IPL 2024 on Tuesday, Pant shared a note on Instagram talking about his return to competitive cricket and thanked the fans for their constant support.
“Felt amazing to be back on the pitch after so long! Cannot be grateful enough for everyone who played a part in this!”, he wrote.
Pant said he would be back next season for more. “The energy was unreal, and I’m thrilled to be doing what I love again. Excited for what’s ahead and looking forward to giving my best and making more memories,” he said.

Pant shared a clip where he can be seen taking a lap of the Arun Jaitley Stadium, DC’s home venue, while waving at the fans .
The Indian wicketkeeper-batter could be seen gifting a few items from his kits to the enthusiastic fans including a tennis racket, a cap and a pair of sneakers.
He also clicked selfies with the crowd fans before signing autographs.
“A man with 0 haters,” wrote one user on the Instagram post.

Others seemed to be impressed with Pant’s comeback in IPL 2024.
One of them wrote, “A comeback that will be etched in history forever”.
Another supporter suggested that Pant competed like a true champion this season. “Played like a champ, what an amazing team it was, just one rcb game spoilt our campaign,” the fan wrote.
One user wished Pant success with the Indian team as well. “May you do way more wonders for India in future,” the fan posted.
“Welcome back, Rishabh! Your comeback is inspiring – can’t wait to see you shine in the upcoming World Cup!,” wrote another fan.
DC squared off against Lucknow Super Giants on May 14 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium.
Half-centuries from Abhishek Porel and Tristan Stubbs enabled Delhi to reach 208.
Pant himself added 33 runs to the tally.
DC then put up a solid defensive act with Ishant Sharma taking a three-wicket haul to curb Lucknow at 189/9, sealing a comfortable victory for DC.
