Small clean budget hotel
4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed today
I stayed here for 1 night and it was only me. I stayed here for 1 night because the hotel I wanted to stay in was unavailable for 1 night. The hotel is walkable from Hakata train station. The hotel room is probably the smallest I’ve ever stayed in. I just had a small cabin luggage and there was enough space for me to walk around. Not sure if 2 persons could stay in this room because on the bed there were 2 pyjamas (see picture). I think it would be a stretch for 2 persons to stay in this room because the room is so small. Also I didn’t like that there is about a 15cm difference between the floor in the room and the floor in the bathroom (see picture). So you need to step up and step down between room and bathroom. On the positive side the room and bathroom were clean. I couldn’t spot any obvious flaw. The TV is modern and huge. The internet connection is probably the fastest I experienced in a hotel. It was 250Mbps! If it was just you and you’re on a budget, I don’t think you’ll be too disappointed to stay here

This hotel is located somewhat far from Hakata Station.
There are several hotels along Prefectural Route 43, which can be accessed via the subway station's underpass, so access is not difficult even in bad weather. This hotel, on the other hand, does not have an underground passage directly connected to the entrance, so you may feel to be difficult to access there in bad weather (there is a free shuttle bus service to Hakata Station, but care should be taken when checking in outside of available hours (e.g., late at night)). Instead, the surrounding area is relatively quiet (although you may need to be somewhat wary of the Chinese and Nepalese restaurants near the hotel, where people gather at night and sometimes talk loudly).
Both the front desk and guest rooms are kept clean and very simple and sophisticated. However, it cannot be denied that the guest rooms are as small as those in other business hotels. Still, I think this hotel is perfect as a base for business and sightseeing in the Hakata area, and for spending a quiet moment in the evening.

Dear garryUKLancs,

Thank you for staying at our hotel.
We're glad to receive a very good evaluation.
It's a difficult situation right now, but please come back to Japan when Corona calms down.
Thank you.

It was first time stay for business trip instead of another one where used to be staying.

They provide comfortable atmosphere with excellent responses and hospitality at front desk as well as Japanese restaurant for breakfast.

Shower works well, distance from Hakata station doesn't matter due to free transport service they do.

I like flower smell at the entrance because it makes me feel healing, I'd like to use here in case coming to Hakata and the cost is reasonable.

Great location within a walking distance from Hakata and Gion station. The room was neat and clean. The bed was comfortable. Bathroom amenities were great. Hotel staff was nice. Couldn't ask for more :)

Location-wise it was great - in a quiet neighbourhood and yet it is close to the train station, subways, eateries and shopping areas. From the hotel, it's easy access to all the sights (many within walking distance). Apart from that however, there was not much to recommend. It is the typical corporate Japanese hotel with fairly sterile, tiny rooms. Still, the room was clean, the bed comfortable and everything functioned smoothly. In short, it suited my needs during my brief stay here. The staff could hardly speak English though, but then this is a common problem in Japan.
