The Dead By Daylight community has a lot to anticipate for May and June. Not only is there the 8th anniversary livestream just over the horizon, but there is also the Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB for PC players. If you have the luxury of playing on PC, here you will find the DBD x DnD Chapter 32 PTB release date and time countdown along with the new killer and survivor leaks.
It has been a good year for Dead By Daylight so far. We’re expecting more to be revealed about The Casting of Frank Stone spin-off soon, but recently we were treated to Chapter 31 which introduced new survivor, Sable Ward, along with quite possibly BeHaviour Interactive’s scariest original killer, The Unknown.
While original episodes are always appreciated, it’s crossovers fans understandably look forward to the most. BeHaviour Interactive has already confirmed that we are getting a collaboration with Dungeons and Dragons, and the release date and time countdown for when the Chapter 32 PTB will come out is nearly over.
Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB release date
The release date for the Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB is May 14th. This comes courtesy of the official DBD roadmap for this month.
BeHaviour Interactive’s official Twitter account confirmed that the new upcoming DBD episode is a collaboration with the iconic DnD franchise. Below is the teaser posted on social media by the developer:

When does the DBD x DnD Chapter 32 PTB start?
The release date and time countdown for when Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons Chapter 32 PTB will come out and start is 10 AM PT/ 1 PM ET/ 6 PM BST on May 14th. This is an hour later than the standard public test build and new chapter launch because it’s happening after the 8th anniversary livestream.
While the DBD x DnD PTB will come out this week, you should know that the episode will not launch for all platforms until June 4th.

New Dead By Daylight x Dungeons and Dragons killer leak
The leaked new killer for the DBD Chapter 32 PTB is Vecna from Dungeons and Dragons. This was previously leaked by the community, but it now appears definite, although not official, following BeHaviour Interactive’s announcement of DnD collaborating with Dead By Daylight.
While Vecna is the heavily leaked new killer, there is also rumors that there will be a new survivor. Prominent leaker, Dvveet, has claimed on Twitter that Chapter 32 is a full chapter which implies there is both a killer and survivor along with possibly a new map.
In addition to Dvveet, fellow prominent leaker, Gumpy, has suggested there will be a new survivor, too. As screenshotted by leaksDBD on Reddit, Gumpy used a violin emoji to hint at the new upcoming survivor. It’s impossible to predict who the survivor is off an emoji, but it seems we are getting a new fresh-faced protagonist.
How to play the PTB
The public test build will only be available to play for PC users on Steam. Provided you play on Steam, follow the below steps once the release date and time countdown have passed:
- Right-click Dead By Daylight in your Steam library
- Select “Properties”
- Head into “Betas”, then select Public Test Build from the list
