Girls outperform boys in CBSE 12th board in Chhattisgarh

In the 12th board exam, girls outperformed boys with 91.52% pass rate for girls and 85.12% for boys. Top scorers include Priyanshi Agarwal, Saheb Singh Hora, Garima Jain, Vikhyat Gomasta, Arushi Bansal, Lakshya Dewangan, Pranshu Agrawal, Tanisha Chaudhary.

RAIPUR: Girls have outperformed boys this year in the 12th board examination with 91.52% girls and 85.12% boys passing the higher secondary examination. The overall pass percentage stood at 79.69%.
Priyanshi Agarwal, a commerce student from Ambuja Vidyapeeth School of Rawan, daughter of Saroj Agarwal and Sandeep Kumar Agarwal excelled in girls' category with a score of 98 per cent in the 12th board examination, as per the results declared by the Central Board of Secondary Education on Monday.

Saheb Singh Hora, a humanities student of Krishna Public School in Dunda, son of Manpreet Kaur Hora and Satnam Singh Hora stood out in boys' category with a score of 97.6 per cent in the higher secondary board examination. He aspires to become a clinical psychologist.
A student of commerce, Garima Jain, daughter of Anita Jain and Hemant Jain, and Vikhyat Gomasta, son of Rahul Gomasta and Alok Gomasta, an arts student from Krishna Public School (KPS) in Dunda, secured 95.60 per cent.
Arushi Bansal and Lakshya Dewangan, who are Biology students from Dronacharya Public School, secured 95.8 per cent and 95.2 per cent respectively.
In the 10th board result, a student of Jain International School in Bilaspur - Pranshu Agrawal, son of Shilpi Kedia, shined in boys' category securing 99 per cent. While Tanisha Chaudhary of Krishna Public School in Dunda, daughter of Renu Chaudhary and Dilip Chaudhary, flared with flying colours in the girls' category by securing 98 per cent.

Deepak Pal and Parnit Kar from Sainik School of Ambikapur secured 95.1 per cent and 94.8 per cent, respectively.
In Chhattisgarh, 30,795 students had registered for the 12th-grade exams, out of which 30,538 kids appeared.
Unlike previous years, there will be no merit list or announcement of toppers after the board exams. An official notification from the board stated that this decision was made to avoid unhealthy competition among students.
