With Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders featuring in a washout later in the night, the Playoffs matches were decided post the last league-stage match.
Dropping out from the top-two for the first time this season, Rajasthan Royals will now face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the Eliminator match.
RCB shook off a horror start to their IPL campaign with 6 straight wins in the business-end of the tournament to qualify for the playoffs as the 4th-placed team. On Sunday, needing to beat Chennai Super Kings by at least 18 runs, the RCB bowlers stood up for the team and defeated the 5-time champions by 27 runs. CSK, meanwhile, were eliminated.
Lucknow Super Giants ended their season with a win and consigned Mumbai Indians to a bottom-placed finish after defeating them by 18 runs at the Wankhede on Thursday. LSG, meanwhile, finished the season in the 6th spot.

KKR, RR, RCB and SRH are the four sides that are currently in the top four. The top four teams will qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs. The top two teams will play in the first Qualifier with the winner going straight into the final. The Eliminator will be played between the teams who are placed third and fourth in the IPL 2024 standings. The winner of the Eliminator will lock horns against the losing team of Qualifier 1. The winner of the Qualifier 2 will enter the final, which will be held at May 26.
