A new trailer for Horizon: An American Saga is here, offering a fresh look at Kevin Costner's two-part western ahead of its debut at the Cannes Film Festival.

The trailer takes its large ensemble cast back to the Old West to show how it was won — and lost — through the blood, sweat, and tears of families, friends, and foes. Some of these relationships and brewing tensions are shown in the clips as various characters face off against one another with fists, flames, and gunfire.

In addition to co-writing and directing the two-chapter cinematic adventure, Costner saddles up as Hayes Ellison, leading a star-studded cast that includes Sienna Miller, Sam Worthington, Tatanka Means, Tom Payne, Jena Malone, Luke Wilson, Jamie Campbell Bower, Michael Rooker, and many more.

Horizon: An American Saga spans the four years of the Civil War, from 1861 to 1865, chronicling an emotional journey across a country at war with itself, experienced through the lens of those that stride or ride on horseback across the land, all attempting to discover what it truly means to be the United States of America.

Chapter One and Chapter Two of the saga will be released in theaters nationwide, the first on June 28, 2024, and the second on August 16, 2024. Variety has also learned that it has nearly sold worldwide, with only a few territories left ahead of its world premiere at the 77th Cannes Film Festival (out of competition) on May 19.

Other films premiering at Cannes, both in and out of the main competition, include Francis Ford Coppola's Megalopolis and George Miller's Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.
