CNN Announces Its Moderators For Biden vs. Trump Debate
On Wednesday, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump agreed to two debates. They'll clash heads on June 27 and Sept. 10.
The first debate will air live at 9 p.m. ET. It'll be available on CNN, CNN.com and CNN Max.
Moments ago, CNN announced that Jake Tapper and Dana Bash will moderate the first debate between Biden and Trump.
Trump has already called out Biden on social media, calling him the "worst debater" he has ever faced.
"It is my great honor to accept the CNN Debate against Crooked Joe Biden, the WORST PRESIDENT in the History of the United States and a true Threat to Democracy, on June 27th," Trump wrote on Truth Social. "Likewise, I accept the ABC News Debate against Crooked Joe on September 10th. Thank you, DJT."
Biden eventually responded with a jab of his own.
“Trump says he’ll arrange his own transportation,” Biden wrote on X. “I’ll bring my plane, too. I plan on keeping it for another four years.”
The second debate between Biden and Trump will be hosted by ABC. The network still has time to figure out who'll moderate it.
The 2024 presidential election will take place on Nov. 5.
