My favorite album from 1989 was Chris Rea's .. Road To Hell . Always loved his style of playing , his slide and tone . Jump to 2014 at Montreux , The Last Open Road . Whadda say fellas ? Not bad for a old guitar slinger . : r/ClassicRock Skip to main content

It’s always baffled me that he’s not a lot more well known. He’s so, so good.

Truly .. this video was posted 9 years ago and has 15 K views . It's a shame . His Road to Hell album was a masterpiece .

And he survived pancreatic cancer. He’s looking great and sounding as good as ever.
