Lisa C Jones OBITUARY

Lisa Claire Jones, born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and resident of Hampton, Virginia, embarked on her final journey to eternity from the shores of Abaco Island in the Bahamas. A devoted world traveler, Lisa’s life was a testament to her adventurous curiosity and generous spirit.

While not roaming the globe, she loved dancing with the Colonial Shag Club, enjoying music at countless outdoor concerts, walking or biking anywhere she could be near the water, and enjoying Broadway shows.

Lisa found true joy in serving others, dedicating countless hours to volunteering throughout the Hampton Roads community, where her compassion touched the lives of many. Her unwavering faith led her to the doors of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hampton, Virginia, where she found solace and community.

Lisa’s legacy extends beyond her travels and service. She leaves behind a loving family who will carry her light in their hearts: her daughters and their spouses- Lindsay Jones and Andrew Tibbetts, and Alison and Joshua McPherson; her adored grandchildren- Fallon Jones, Stella Jones, and Benjamin McPherson; her partner Warren Crusenberry, and his family that became hers too. She was close with her many siblings: Kenneth Wagner of Marlborough, MA; Katherine Muhs and Julie Reeck of Green Bay, Wisconsin; Randall Wagner, Janine Wagner, and Jodi Holman of Milwaukee, WI and their spouses and children.

Though her physical presence may be gone, Lisa’s spirit of adventure, kindness, and love will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace, her memory a beacon of hope and joy.

The Celebration of her Life is scheduled for Friday, June 14th at 10am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Hampton, VA, with a luncheon to follow. Colorful clothes and respiratory masks are highly encouraged for the Celebration of Life. In lieu of flowers, donations to Menchville House or PORT Winter Shelter in her name are appreciated.
