Ed and Melody Thomas Scott to Receive Lifetime Achievement Daytime Emmys

The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences (NATAS) has announced that a soap power couple, legendary producer Edward J. Scott and his wife, The Young and the Restless star Melody Thomas Scott, will both be Lifetime Achievement Honorees at the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards.

Scott, who started his career in daytime in 1976, and Thomas Scott, who started her daytime career in 1979, said about their honor in a joint statement:
