Heavy police presence in the area of Willow Street and Harris Avenue

Two adult men were injured in a shooting on Marysville Boulevard near South Avenue in Sacramento on Friday evening, Sacramento police said.According to Sacramento PD, officers responded to a shooting in the 3500 block of Marysville Boulevard at approximately 8:25 p.m.Police said the two men were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.Officials added that four vehicles were also struck by gunfire.There is a heavy police presence in the area of Willow Street and Harris Avenue as officers investigate the shooting, Sacramento police said.Officers have advised motorists to take alternative routes as traffic will be impacted.
