Unfortunately it is true.

On the upside, I am great at corn mazes and reaching the top shelf of most things (though warehouse stores top shelves still escape me since I am not a forklift).

But on the downside we have...

...the need to duck through every doorway ever except at places with large archways.
...cannot drive because cars are too small to fit me in the driver's seat.
...I do not sleep on a bed but instead a couch since beds are not designed for people above 6' on average. A custom made bed for tall people is quite expensive and I am not middle-class.
...I cannot wear normal clothing, instead having to shop online for extra-long pants. Shirts I can at least just get XL stuff and hem the waist if I want the shirts to actually fit.
...my shoe size is 16.5 mens, so I have to get some custom orders, pricy.
...ceiling fans should not be left on at night and should be dusted often. Speaking from experience as someone who has been choke-slapped by a fan blade and had dust coating my tongue as a result; amplifying my gagging from the sudden strike. Seriously.... CLEAN YOUR FAN BLADES!!!
...to bathe myself entirely, I have to have a bathtub and not a standing shower. This is because I need to sit down in the tub, preferably on a chair, in order to shower my hair and upper fourth of my body. Ideally, a shower head you can remove and manipulate on the end of a hose is the best way to shower without having to clutter the bathroom with a random shower stool.
...I shouldn't stand up too fast, otherwise I may get light-headed and could fall to the ground. Being taller means that when my head hits the ground, it hits with greater force than your typical adult falling and hitting their head. If I am not careful, the ICU is where I may find myself waking up.
...I cannot reach the bottom shelf without looking cartoonish.
