How hot is the market for Anthony Edwards cards? Over the last three weeks, more than 30,000 cards featuring the Minnesota Timberwolves still wet behind the ears star have sold on eBay for nearly $3 million.
Thirteen AntMan cards have sold for $10,000 or more in that time, including a 2020 National Treasures Rookie Patch Autograph numbered to 99 with a ‘10’ autograph grade from PSA that netted $30,000.
Another NT RPA graded 9.5/10 by Beckett sold for over $85,000 via Goldin last week and a rookie year game-worn jersey went for more than that.
He’s taken over the list of most watched basketball card auctions on eBay.
Edwards is in his fourth NBA season but won’t turn 23 until August. For his career, he’s averaging nearly 23 points per game and leading a team that could have an extended run in the playoffs is raising his profile to heights not seen since he entered the NBA Draft after one year at Georgia.
You can see which of his cards are attracting the most attention at the bottom of this story we wrote about him back in 2021.

Free admission is common at a lot of sports memorabilia shows. Free tables for dealers? That’s not common at all, but game-worn collectors who want to set up a table at MeiGray’s annual Expo this summer can do it for no charge.
The Expo takes place July 13 at the Raritan Valley Community College Conference Center and annually attracts collectors of game-worn and game-used gear.
In 2023, MeiGray made attendance free. This year, it’s free for collectors and dealers alike.
“Trades and sales will be welcomed and encouraged for anyone who wants to come,” the company says.

Certified Collectibles Group recently bought JSA and the two entities are now starting to work together on encapsulating autographed items authenticated by JSA. Collectors can now submit autographed comics for authentication by JSA and grading and encapsulation by CGC.
According to CCG, “combined autograph authentication and grading services for comics are the first of many planned upgrades following the acquisition of JSA by CCG.”
Still to come are authentication and encapsulation for sports and non-sports cards, with magazines and other items also in the works.
CCG says “announcements will be made when more combined autograph authentication and grading services become available.”
