Congressman Raul Ruiz's Statement on Voting to Table the Attempt to Oust Speaker Johnson

Washington D.C. – Today, Congressman Raul Ruiz, M.D. (CA-25) released the following statement on voting to table the attempt to oust Speaker Johnson.

“I voted to block the right-wing effort to plunge the House into further chaos and dysfunction and to acknowledge Speaker Johnson for working with Democrats to pass the bipartisan supplemental aid package,”said Dr. Raul Ruiz.  “The radical extremists who introduced this motion have once again shown that they care more about performing for social media attention than addressing issues like inflation and immigration.”
