Current and former employees of the San Lorenzo Unified School District and their family members are invited to the district's 39th Annual Employee Recognition Event from 3:45-5 p.m. on May 23 at the Cherryland Community Center, 278 Hampton Road in Hayward.
This event not only celebrates years of service with the district and honors retiring employees but also fosters camaraderie, acknowledges dedication, and inspires gratitude for their invaluable contributions, said Jessica Saavedra, assistant superintendent for human resources.
Employee service categories range from 10 years to more than 25 years. A total of 28 retirees will be honored, 14 of them former classified employees and 14 former certificated employees.
Hors d'oeuvres and other refreshments will be served.
