Week 3 pantheon final boss rhulk is not that hard!

Tips / Hints

For all of you actively trying to send rhulk off the cliff side, I strongly recommend actually trying the boss fight! The encounter mechanics are the same as the base version on the exception of a tormentor spawning after each time people bank into the totems to progress the encounter. My team used x5 thunderlords and 1 divinity cenotaph warlock. Team comp was 4 nighthawk hunters and 2 well warlocks.

  • tips

  • all players should be 90-100 resilience x2-3 damage resistant mods for whatever enemy you’re fighting.

— Hunter knife of choice: knife trick — Hunter dodge of choice is acrobats dodge — Hunter subclass aspects should b knock em down (free damage resistance while in super) and on your mark (free increased reload speed on precision kills and or max stacks on using your dodge) — Hunter fragments: ember of torches(throw your knife to make you and nearby allies radiant + 15%? Extra damage and scorching your target), empyrean(solar weapon or ability kills extend restoration and radiant effects applied to you), searing(defeating a scorched target makes a firesprite and gives melee energy), mercy(using this mainly for gaining restoration for picking up a firesprite) and solace(extra time duration for radiant and restoration)

— (helmet): x1 Siphon mod for whatever your primary ammo gun is — (arms): x1 heavy handed for melee kills to make an orb — ((chest #1): what you’ll be using) x2-3 element resistance mods based on what enemies you’ll be fighting. — ((chest #2): swap to this before you rally the flag for ammo) x3 ammo reserve mods for whatever element your heavy weapon is. — ((legs) mandatory IMO): recuperation, X surge mod, X scavenger mod. — (class item): time dilation, (optional) x2 bomber

When you get to a damage phase if you’re using thunderlord ONLY HIPFIRE THE GUN!!! It’s got pretty damn close to pinpoint perfect accuracy when firing from the hip and allows you to be more mobile while shooting to avoid the duplicate boss that pushes everyone around.

———————————— Warlocks: either strand(passive neutral game) or solar (aggressive playstyle) would be the best options

  • Strand — Aspects: wanderer & mindspun invocation — Fragments: thread of continuity( all strand verbs have increased duration), wisdom( defeat a suspended target and make an orb), warding(picking up an orb gives woven mail) and generation(dealing damage gives grenade energy)

Amor mods will generally be the same as the hunter on the exception of a few considering strand isn’t a lethality subclass imo

— (Helmet): your choices are more or less up to you but I’d recommend a heavy ammo finder and targeting mod — (arms): (considering you’ll likely use the arcane needle to unravel what’s around) momentum transfer and your choice of loader — (chest): same as Hunter you’ll want 2 one for ammo and the other for damage resistance mods — (legs): recuperation, x1 scavenger mod, x1 surge mod —(class item): time dilation & whatever else you want

-Solar subclass will basically be the same as Hunter

-Healing rift for the class ability and celestial fire to make yourself radiant from a distance

Aspect: touch of flame & Icarus dash (I personally hate heat rises… love the synergy but I hate that I stay floating in the air when I decide to double jump and shoot)

Fragments: ember of solace, torches, singeing and ashes.

Character armor mods are basically the same as strand.

——————————— Titan: sorry I don’t play titan much nor did my team have one so punch as hard as you possibly can with all the crayons you can muster? Pyrogale exotic arms is great for damage so have at it 🫡

We just used 5 warlocks. 4 Acrius + 1 Tractor. And a titan with strongholds having shadow Rhulk on the side.

Nearly one phased

My team wanted to do that, it seemed really viable and fun to do but shadow rhulk wouldn’t leave us alone 😫

Where is my lumina buff?

Use it if you need it but be sure to have kinetic siphon mods to make orbs on primary weapon kills.

There's absolutely no need to run acrobat's dodge at rhulk when you have ember of torches. Shadow thrall spawn often enough that you can throw your knives at one, make yourself and allies radiant, then use gambler's dodge to get your knives back and repeat. throw the knives at rhulk during damage and you and your allies still get radiant.

Acrobat's cooldown is too damn long and deprives you of consistent melees.

That is true I just happened to have it on from the previous few encounters.

That's fair, I can see how it'd be helpful for atraks at the very least.

It absolutely was with class warfare stacking to x3 and being radiant with parasite and blade barrage does a lot of damage in that tiny window.
