Yahoo News Heavy rain warning after flood rips Herefordshire street apart
HEAVY rain could be on the way for Herefordshire, with a Met Office weather warning issued for the county.
The Met Office yellow warning for rain will come into force at 1pm today (May 16) and remain in force until 11pm this evening.
The Met Office said an area of heavy rain is expected to move west across parts of England and then into Wales during today.
"There remains some uncertainty as to how far north or south this band of rain will be, but there is a small chance that it will become slow-moving over parts of the West Midlands and northwest England, as well as into Wales later this afternoon and early evening," the Met Office said.

Should this happen then some places could see 40 to 60 millimetres of rain falling in three to six hours.
The warning covers Hereford and the north of the county, with Bromyard, Leominster, and Kington all covered by the warning area.
The warning comes after flash flooding caused chaos in Ross-on-Wye at the weekend.

Road closures have been in force in the town since as works are carried out to repair infrastructure beneath the streets.
Businesses have also had to close in the wake of the damage, which saw areas of Broad Street sinking due to problems underground.
The issue has caused calls including from MP Jesse Norman for “long-term solutions” to its drainage problems.
