Calling all Prince fans. Stop what you’re doing and cancel your summer vacation plans. You’ve probably already taken a tour of Paisley Park, but now, Airbnb is getting ready to give you the chance of a lifetime to experience a little piece of music history.

In honor of the 40th anniversary of the release of “Purple Rain,” you can hang out in the Minneapolis home made famous by the film as part of Airbnb’s Icon experiences.

The three-bedroom home located on Snelling Avenue was featured as the childhood home of Prince’s character, “The Kid,” in the iconic 1984 film. Prince bought the home in 2015 – just one year before his untimely death – and it is still owned by his estate today.

Beginning in August, the house will be open to the public for the first time in history, allowing Prince fans to take advantage of an experience that before could only exist in their dreams.

According to the Airbnb website, it includes an overnight stay in The Kid’s bedroom, a chance to listen and dance to some rare Prince tracks and a private tour of the newly-renovated home, which includes some of Prince’s belongings. And if all of that wasn’t enough, your hosts will be Wendy and Lisa, members of Prince’s band The Revolution.
