Hull KR set for double injury return as Willie Peters also prepares for centre call

Both Sam Luckley and Elliot Minchella are "on track" to feature in Hull KR's Challenge Cup semi-final with Wigan Warriors this Saturday. The pair missed last week's defeat to Warrington Wolves, with Luckley waiting for a wrist complaint to be assessed and Minchella not risked after sustaining a groin injury the week before.

However, both are on course to return after a short absence on Saturday, which will leave Willie Peters with plenty to consider with his team selection.

"Sam's okay," Peters said. "There is a little bit of an issue there, it's something we might have to look at a little bit later on in the year.

"Mini is on track. He trained yesterday, he didn't do the whole session, but he's hoping to do more tomorrow. There's some big calls around our forwards. Obviously, Tom Opacic will come back into contention, and he's done a job for us before, so there's no doubt Tom will do a job again for us. Other than that, the side has been pretty consistent with who we've picked."

Peters will be without Oliver Gildart due to a knee injury, while both Jack Broadbent and Danny Richardson are cup tied. Opacic appears the most likely to take the centre spot vacated by Broadbent, who had been given the nod in the past two outings.
