Kate Chastain Mocks Teresa Giudice’s Lawyer After Recent RHONJ Leaks

There’s something about Real Housewives of New Jersey that brings out the conspiracy theorist in everyone. Somehow, Teresa Giudice’s lawyer, James J. Leonard, Jr., has joined the detached reality. Apparently, he’s on a witchhunt to find out who is trash-talking Luis Ruelas. During that process, he somehow ended up taking an interest in Below Deck alum Kate Chastain. It’s an unusual beef, and Kate is sitting somewhere in Florida laughing at the entire thing.

Chasing the Chastains

This all started when a RHONJ fan shared some alleged screenshots from James. They appear to show James trying to find evidence of Kate talking badly about Teresa and Luis. According to the texts, he seemed to think that the actress Jessica Chastain was related to Kate and that they could be working together to plot against the RHONJ stars.

In the alleged texts, James wrote, “I need to know if Jessica and Kate Chastain are connected?”

Then, he wanted to dig into their Instagram history to see if either had talked about Teresa and her man. This whole time, James was probably standing in front of a bulletin board with pictures of every Bravolebrty, desperately trying to piece something together. Clearly, the rabbit hole didn’t lead anywhere, and when Kate got wind of the texts, she gave James a much-deserved roasting.

Kate wrote, “Teresa’s lawyer seriously thinking me and Jessica Chastain are conspiring to take down Teresa’s boyfriend might be the funniest thing I’ve ever heard.”

Unfortunately, this level of legal work is pretty on-brand for James. He’s been by Teresa’s side since her jail days and never hesitates to weigh in on the latest happenings in New Jersey — big or small. Keeping up with the Giudices is basically a full-time job for him.

For example, when Luis seemingly gifted Teresa’s daughters fake Cartier bracelets for Christmas, James jumped in. He quickly issued a statement to the press to defend Luis. When Teresa’s Benz got stolen, James spoke to news outlets expressing optimism that the car would be recovered.

With rumors flying about Teresa and Jennifer Aydin leaking stories and trying to manipulate the narratives on RHONJ, James is probably going to have his work cut out for him over the next few months. At least he now knows that Kate has nothing to do with any of it. That’s one suspect off the list.
