Eric Clapton: Liverpool 2024 Set List

Eric Clapton’s second concert of his 2024 Tour took place at the M&S Bank Arena in Liverpool on Saturday, May 11, 2024, almost 15 years to the day of his last concert in the city on May 13, 2009.

Perhaps in a nod to the city he was performing in, Eric played a bit of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Rodgers and Hammerstein as an introduction to “Tears in Heaven.” (Merseybeat band Gerry & The Pacemakers had a Number One with the song  in 1963 and since that time, it’s also been the anthem of Liverpool F.C.)

The encore was the blues standard “That’s Alright” by Jimmy Rogers in celebration of what would have been his 100th birthday this year.

Andy Fairweather Low & The Low Riders were Eric’s special guests.
