Tori Spelling fans tell star to 'grow up' as she shows off stomach piercings

Tori Spelling knows that you don’t have to be a teenager to rock a new piercing.

The 51-year-old mom of five showed off risque jewellery while on a recent episode of her misSPELLING podcast. 

According to Spelling, her 15-year-old daughter Stella took her to a piercing parlor to get hip dermals as a Mother’s Day gift. 

"My kids know me so well," Spelling told her pal Jessica Amer on the podcast.  

She then stood up and lifted her shirt to reveal diamond jewellery placed on her stomach.  

"I mean..." Amer reacted with ambivalence. 

"Oh my God, I'm scared of her reaction," Spelling said.

"I mean I like it if it was like one," Amer confessed. 

"I hate odd numbers, you know I like everything in pairs," Spelling jokingly scoffed.

Spelling explained that the piercings were done in celebration of her relationship with her body as she ages. 

“I've had five babies. I'm really proud [of] my stomach. That's you know, it's gone in and out five times and it's good,” she said. “And I feel like, you know, my thing back in the day, like full circle, was my belly. I always showed off my belly because that was one of my favorite parts of me. And now I do it again and people are like, stop dressing like a teenager.”

The 90210 star also took to Instagram to share off the raunchy studs, giving herself a cheeky nickname "Miss midriff." 

"My kids surprised me with a very unmother’s day celebration which was very ME! Dim Sum & Dermals hear all about it as I surprise my best friend @jessamer with the news on my podcast @misspellingpodcast NEW episode ‘Miss midriff’ wherever you get your podcasts," she captioned the post. 

But not everyone was supportive of the 51-year-old’s edgy body decor. 

"You are RIDICULOUS... GROW TFU," one comment stated.

Spelling and her children seem to be spending close quality time together amidst her split from Dean McDermott. The couple officially filed for divorce in March, with the documents citing "irreconcilable differences.”

The two got married in 2006, and McDermott publicly admitted to cheating on his wife in 2014.

In lieu of the divorce, Spelling has requested sole custody of their children Liam, 16, Stella, Hattie, 11, Finn, 10, and Beau, six.
