Doors officially open for East Kilbride Playsport's new GP racing simulator centre

Playsport in East Kilbride has welcomed a new state-of-the-art racing simulator centre, GP Racing Simulators, with doors officially open to the public today.

Formula One Esports champion Lucas Blakeley, Formula One Sim Racing World Championship McLaren Shadow Driver Wilson Hughes and Caledonia Gladiators player Oscar Baldwin were among the VIPs to test out the kit first hand ahead of the official launch on Friday, May 17.

Representing a £500,000 investment and creating job opportunities locally, GP Racing Simulators spans 3600 square feet and was designed in collaboration with architects Holmes Miller.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
