Drake has landed seven BET Award nominations with For All the Dogs (Scary Hours Edition) (OVO/Republic), which is up for Album of the Year. He'll go up against current rival Kendrick Lamar in the Best Male Hip-Hop Artist category. Def Jam, meanwhile, scored nine nods.
Closely behind is Nicki Minaj, who secured six noms, and J. Cole, Sexyy Red, SZA and Victoria Monét, who each earned five. 21 Savage, Beyoncé, Doja Cat, Megan Thee Stallion, Tyla and USHER racked up five noms each.
Def Jam is understandably doing a victory lap after several of its artists picked up multiple nominations; Coco Jones and Muni Long were both recognized in the Best Female R&B/Pop Artist competition, while Fridayy was acknowledged in the Best New Artist and Best Male R&B/Pop Artist categories.
A full list of the nominations can be found here. We hear we're nominated for Biggest Losers of the Year—again.
The 2024 BET Awards will transpire live in L.A. on 6/30.
