Guy Ritchie has already set up his next film, reportedly titled Wife & Dog. More on the project below.

Guy Ritchie, Hollywood’s busiest man, is already setting up his next film. World Of Reel reports that Ritchie’s next film will be called Wife & Dog. The film is heading to the Cannes market in the hopes it’ll find more backing there.

That’s all we really know at this point. World Of Reel mentions that the film is said to tackle the subject of class like his recent Netflix TV show The Gentlemen (it’ll be set in the “colorful, back-stabbing world of British aristocracy” according to Variety.

Ritchie is also getting ready to release his next film, In The Grey, in cinemas in January 2025, which stars Henry Cavill and Jake Gylenhaal. It’s some sort of action thriller with “an element of The Expendables to it”, and was filmed in the Canary Islands in the second half of 2023.

Ritchie has also been promoting his latest outing, The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare. Curiously, the film still doesn’t have an official UK release date – even though it’s already available to buy and rent digitally in the US.

The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare stars Henry Cavill, Alan Ritchson, Alex Pettyfer, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Babs Olusanmokun and Cary Elwes as members of a top-secret WWII combat unit who go on a secret mission against the Nazis. It’s (very) loosely based on a true story – the top secret Operation Postmaster.

The Snatch director is quickly gaining a reputation as the hardest working filmmaker in Hollywood. In the last five years, Ritchie has released six films and a TV show. He’s also currently filming Fountain Of Youth with Natalie Portman and John Krasinski.

More on Wife & Dog and other Guy Ritchie projects as we hear it.
