What is Frozen about?

Disney’s Frozen is set in the fantasy land of Arendelle. There we meet two princesses: sisters Elsa and Anna. The pair grow up estranged because Elsa is hiding her secret powers, after accidentally injuring Anna when they were children.

Elsa throws open the palace doors for her coronation, but when Anna upsets her by announcing her instant engagement to the seemingly charming Prince Hans, Elsa unleashes her powers. The scheming Duke of Weaselton wants Elsa dead, but Anna sets out to save her with the help of ice merchant Kristoff, reindeer Sven and snowman Olaf.

The phenomenally successful 2013 Disney movie has become an equally enchanting stage musical, packed with your favourite songs, such as Let It Go, along with new numbers. Jaw-dropping special effects capture Elsa’s incredible icy magic. It’s the perfect first theatre outing for children, and fun for all the family.

Laura Dawkes makes her exciting West End debut as the quirky Anna.

They’re joined by Jammy Kasongo (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical) as Kristoff, Craig Gallivan (School of Rock) as Olaf, Oliver Ormson (Back to the Future) as Hans, and Richard Frame (The Lion King) as the Duke of Weaselton.

The show features songs by Oscar-winning Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, a book by Oscar-winning Jennifer Lee, and direction by Tony and Olivier Award-winning Michael Grandage (Guys & Dolls). Their inventive production features wonderful puppetry and other theatrical magic.
