Why does supercell hate 3 Musketeers?

I genuinely don’t get it. The spellbait archetype is unique, non toxic, balanced and fair. Just one of many archetypes fitting into Clash Royale. Log bait has been way more popular and stronger for years and they never cared.

How comes 3m got absolutely nerfed to death, then slightly buffed again, finally reverted after tons of better cards were added and now nerfed again passively.

Like even if we only focus on pump, it technically was never the issue. You can tell by how it was never as popular before and only became so dominant with Douchees - not because pump was OP.

Meanwhile 3m is chillin at probably the least popular archetype with 0.1%-3% usage rate each season and with void + pump nerf + evos seem to be significant worse again after tomorrow.

Genuinely curious if I missed something that Supercell never gave 3m / spellbait another chance. thoughts ?

It’s pretty much impossible to balance 3m cause of the single musketeer, if you buff the 3m stat wise than musketeer is gonna be really strong so the only solution is to make 3m 8 elixir but that might be to broken so they can’t find a way to balance it

I think 3m aren’t even bad, you just have to know how to play them, and use them as a wincon to base your deck around. There’s been times 3m had the best win rates in the game with similar stats to now

Brother that was 5 or 6 years ago 💀 it’s been never the same since that ridiculous 10 elixir deploy time nerf

There’s been times I see it have high win rates since playing only 2 years ago. But tbf mostly because elixir collector was OP

I can think of more just rn randomly and I’m just a player and not a dev

Could add large spawn time between them like goblins but more, could increase the split like rascals, could decrease deploy to get a faster first shot, could buff it passively by not killing all cards that fit the archetype…
