The Lonely Man Blu-ray

Kino Lorber are preparing a Blu-ray release of Henry Levin's The Lonely Man (1957), starring Jack Palance, Anthony Perkins, Neville Brand, Robert Middleton, and Elisha Cook Jr. The release is expected to arrive on the market later this year.
Description: Based on a 1941 movie entitled Shepherd of the Hills, this is the story of a gunfighter who decides to return home after 17 years to make amends with his son. The son blames him for his mother's death and the reconciliation is difficult. Although there are many side action lines -- old enemies still gunning for him and new friends not sure who to root for -- the main theme is that of the interaction between father and son. Very exciting news! Jack Palance, Anthony Perkins + Elisha Cook Jr. in a Western, presented in glorious Vistavision, is a must-buy! And director Henry Levin was responsible for some solid movies as well (Journey to the Center of the Earth, ...).
